Just over a week ago, I attended the 'Bloggers Tea Party' organised by two lovely bloggers, Nadja from Throw Me Something Beautiful and Olivia from Beauty From The Fjord

The event was held at Drink Shop Do in Kings Cross. It’s a really
adorable café that has a great array of teas and some incredibly yummy cakes.
They also sell a few other bits and bobs and it has a real quirky and unique
feel to it.
Nadja and Olivia did such an amazing job with the event. There was a Beauty Bar with a pick & mix twist, were we were allowed to select one of
each product. I selected Ciate, Nail Varnish in Mistress, Dr. Bronner Organic Castile Soap in Lavender, For You Rejuvenating Moisturiser and a cute envelope filled with samples from Jason
We were also given a fantastic goody bag at the end, which contained
the following, and I will be trying out the products over the next few weeks so
will be posting up some reviews soon
I had so
much fun, and loved meeting so many bloggers in a small intimate space where we
could all interact and get to know one another.
I was also
really impressed with all the fantastic brands that supported the event as well
as the organisation and the attention to detail (even our goody bags were personalised
to suit us, for example my Sleek Foundation is a dark shade and as opposed to
receiving a tanning lotion, I received a moisturising spray instead) It was a
really lovely gesture that went above and beyond.
Nadja and
Olivia will be organising another event for Christmas, so do keep your eyes
peeled and follow them on their blogs to keep up with any news. They are both also currently running a
