The Latest in
Beauty Box in collaboration with Hip and Healthy landed on my doorstep a couple
of days ago and I couldn’t wait to share the contents with you.
I don’t really
subscribe to any beauty box subscriptions, but when I found out about Latest in
Beauty I was intrigued because they offer limited edition boxes rather than the
usual monthly subscription service. They also have a build your box service
where you can select what products you would like to include in your box.
Hip and Health is
a brand I recently discovered and really like. I attended one of their events
recently and came away full of health, nutrition and beauty tips that I have
been applying to my daily life. So when I heard they had collaborated with
Latest in Beauty to bring out a Summer Glow Box, I decided to order it
I have only just
received the box so this isn’t a proper review but just a sneak peek at the
contents
James
Read Sleep Mask Tan (25ml)
Not a product I would usually get excited about but after hearing about
a tanning product that launched for darker skin tones and reading that it
simply gives darker skin tones a glow, I’m curious to try this to see if it
does anything to my dark skin. Described as combining skin-beautifying
ingredients with a touch of self-tan. “The hydrating gel formula is infused
with skincare essentials including Aloe Vera, Cucumber, Hyaluronic Acid and Red
Algae, to moisturise and soothe the skin overnight.”
Nourish
Golden Glow Toning Body Shimmer (2ml)
It’ s infused with golden resins of Frankincense and Myrrh, along with
Neroli oil and shimmer to give skin a natural, sun-kissed radiance, One I’m
going to be trying out along my décolletage (love that word) and arms.
Melvita
Rose Extraordinary Water (25ml)
Have been wanting to try Melvita for a while so I'm excited to test this
out. Described as being rich in Rose essential water, “this delicately scented
formula combines the repairing and astringent properties of Rose floral water
with the invigorating properties of Marsh clover. It prepares skin perfectly,
leaving it ready for your daytime moisturiser.”
Green
People, Sun Lotion SPF 15 with Tan Accelerator (20ml)
Not too sure about the tan accelerating idea of this on my skin! But I
love that Green People Sun Lotions are made with pure, great quality ingredients
making them suitable for those with sensitive skin.
Inner Me
Daily 4 Me The Hectic Years 30+ (4 week supply)
Time to confess, I actually got this box mainly because of Inner Me. A
firm believer in you are what you eat, I’m a big fan of supplements and have
been wanting to try Inner Me vitamins for a while, so when I saw that you got a
full month’s supply of four different vitamins I jumped on it. A months supply
usually retails for £30 so to get them in the box alongside all the other
samples for £16.95 is fantastic value and I can’t wait to try them out. Inner
Me vitamins are formulated specifically for women, and this Daily 4 includes a
range of carefully selected supplements, multivitamin and mineral tablets. Not
only do they cover all those daily needs to support our hectic lifestyles, but
also they work to get your skin glowing from the inside out.
Moa The
Green Balm (15ml)
Have heard so many glowing reviews about this little balm, so looking
forward to testing it out. This 100% organic super green balm is crammed with
natural ingredients including Yarrow; known for it’s antiseptic and
anti-inflammatory benefits. It can be used on sunburns, eczema, dry skin - etc.
Burt's
Bees Beeswax Lip Balm (4.25g)
Already one I’m currently using so it’s great to have a back up ready.
Burt’s Bees 100% natural must-have lip balms are made from beeswax, which
conditions skin, while antioxidant Vitamin E moisturises.
Dragonfly
Tea (2x sachets)
I love tea! In my opinion teatime
helps soothe most issues away or at least helps you pause and rethink how bad
it really is. I love that herbal teas have additional benefits and I usually
add them into my essential daily water intake. The two I was sent are the
Moonlight Jasmine and the Organic White Tea.
Ohso Good
for you Chocolate (2x bars)
Ok I decided to try one of these as I type. Seriously the little bars
were just calling out to me, encouraging me to believe their miniature sizes
make them ok to consume chocolate willy nilly. Luckily they do! The ultimate
healthy treat which helps you de-bloat by delivering 3x more good bacteria to
your gut than dairy alternatives. Who said chocolate wasn't good for you?!
Archeia
Minerals for Hair Skin and Nails (7.5 days supply)
Another supplement. I haven’t heard of Archeia before, so looking
forward to finding out more about the brand. Described as containing minerals
packed full of ingredients proven to support the formation of collagen and to
protect the cells of your body from free radical damage, a major cause of
wrinkles, thinning hair and a dull complexion.
Nailberry
Nail Polish (15ml)
A pretty pastel colour, Nailberry nail polishes are one of kind as they
are all Free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP and synthetic Camphor. They are also
cruelty free.
Salt
Resort Wear £20 Voucher
Salt is the ultimate destination for beach and resort wear offering
everything from super-luxe swimwear to the latest must-have holiday
accessories. Will be checking them out
and hoping it inspires another holiday trip soon
The box retails for £16.95 and is available from
