Happy New Month guys…
I can’t believe we are now in December, the last month of the year! This year feels like it has flown by so quickly.
Don’t you just love it when you rediscover an oldie but a goodie.
Nail’s Inc. Hampstead Heath was that product! I have had this polish for at
least a year, if not more and had somehow forgotten about it. I was looking
through my polishes for a nice wintery colour and this was it.
It also helps that Hampstead heath happens to be one of my favourite
places in London (it’s a lovely oasis from the hustle of London and isn’t too
far away for me to get to)
The nail varnish is one that I have worn a number of times over the
month. Hmm, thinking about the colour, I would say it’s a light plummy shade
with a hint of dark pink (I’m sure that makes perfect sense).
Sadly I went searching for it on the Nails Inc. site and it seems to
have been discontinued (really?!?!) but I did find a very similar shade from Jessica,
which would work just as well. So if you are interested, that one is called
Blushing Princess
2) Bravura Detoxifying Eucalyptus Toner
Ok this toner honestly pulled a superhero move on my face. My skin
for the last couple of months hasn’t been all that great. It has been quite
congested, clogged up and dull.
Well this toner literally swooped in and saved the day. I have only
been using it for about a week and a half but my face is smoother, brighter and
my pores are not as clogged up. I will
be doing a full review after I have used it for about a month but fingers
crossed that it keeps doing what it’s doing
3&4) Mac Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare and Sleek lipstick in Mystic
These two had to go together because well, I have been wearing them
together. In all seriousness, this has
been my main lip combination over the last month. I start off by filing in my
whole lip with the liner and then follow it with the lipstick on top. The
lipstick is a bright purple shade and the liner is a much softer pink truffle
nudey shade (I clearly could have gotten a job as a cosmetic shade describer!) together however they turn into something
quite magical. Almost every time I have worn it over the month, I have had
people ask me what lipstick I have on, so it’s definitely a keeper
5) Nars Sheer Matte Foundation in Benares
My final favourite product of the month was my Nars Benares
foundation. I used it a few times in the summer but it didn’t really stand up
to the summer heat wave that we had. Even though it’s the matt formulation, my
skin was having an oily moment over the summer period so sadly it didn’t stand
a chance.
With the current weather however, it’s been perfect. It’s not too
matt or dewy and it gives my skin such great coverage without looking heavy or
cakey
And that’s it. What were some of your favourite products over the
month? Let me know in the comments below, I love finding out what people have
been loving and using.
