Marks & Spencer Womenswear Collection Spring Summer 14

Last week I was invited to the preview of the Marks and Spencer Spring Sumer 2014 Collection.  The SS14 Womenswear collection  explores both a bold and muted colour palette with vivid prints. The styling is quite sleek with clean lines and minimal designs.

I know I don't usually share that much fashion on here, but I thought the collection was so lovely that I wanted to share some of my favourite pieces below and get you excited for some of what you can expect to see next year. The collection consisted of five areas (see below) and should be available from February/March 2014 both online and at select M&S stores.

White Out

Simplistic, clean and effortless with sleek sports detailing; White out is a chic contraction of linear and fluid draping, reaffirming white as a bold new colour direction for summer spring.

Worldwide

This concept is a celebration of the contemporary adventuress. Proportions are toyed with an abstract prints and bohemian layering fuse together in a graphic explosion of sleek femininity.

Pretty Things

A rendezvous with romance sees textured florals, razor pleats and outerwear in sugary shades collide. sheer layering, cut work lace and a shine of metallic define this eclectic fabrication and embody the contemporary lady-like aesthetic.

Paint Box

This concept is a contemporary explosion of the colour palette unites punchy primaries with the simple silhouette in an explosion of tonal diversity. colourful leathers offset with luxe neutrals and contrasting texture epitomise the paint box visual.

90s Luxe

Easy elegance and sophistication with a sartorial edge define the ultra sleek 90s revival. Monochromatic tailoring and taupe leathers punctuate the urban minimalist aesthetic in a redefinition of the classics.

What do you guys think of the collection? Was there anything that caught your eye?
