#9 Hmmm beauty calories vs. lip fat burner

So it seems that beauty has entered into the diet arena….was bound to happen sooner or later……

NEW from DeLuscious who teamed up with Borba, the nutraceutical skincare company is a new line of vitamin-enhanced oatmeal raisin and chocolate white chocolate toffee cookies to help your skin look flawless. Yep ladies you heard right – sinful goodies laced with skin care ingredients!

The chocolate white chocolate toffee cookies are said to contain a mix of skin-nurturing antioxidants and nutrients that include antioxidants açaí and noni berries. Also included are vitamins B3, B6 and B12 and Flaxseed, rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids. So obviously the more you eat the better your skin gets! Great I think, but what about my waistline?

Infinitely more waistline friendly and also new to the beauty market is Burner Balm. Containing soy oil, hoodia and green tea extracts, chromium picolinate and caffeine - it’s a lip balm that claims to curb your appetite, increase your energy levels and burn fat and carbohydrates while you go about your everyday routine. The science behind how it works is coming soon on the website so unfortunately I can’t break that down here.

Having not tried these products my optimistic glass is half full side is left wondering if they will end up becoming a girls best friend while the sceptic in me wonders if they actually work and if so how?… hmmm the jury is still out on this one.

What do you all think? Drop me a line and let me know

Great writing Segs.
Being a scientist I need to see the science behind all of this to believe it
